CTEC often uses meetings and its E-mail listserv to discuss and debate current issues related to transplantation. When possible, members write position statements and circulate those to the membership for discussion and to the board for approval as positions of CTEC. When agreement is not possible or an agreed-upon statement is a product of significant compromise, dissenting opinions or more polarized opinions that capture the opinions of individuals or small groups from the membership are added as well. Any reasonable dissent or alternate opinion is published, as well. Follow the links below for positions on issues that have been thoroughly discussed at CTEC meetings. |
